Wayman Hall, Sr

Mr. Wayman Herschel Hall, Sr. age 90, beloved husband of 70 years to Mrs. Violet P. Hall of Jack Ray Road died Friday morning March 24, 2017 at University Hospital - Augusta.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Norwood Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Thigpen officiating. Burial will follow in the Scruggs Cemetery. Mr. Hall will lie in state one hour prior to funeral services at the church.
Mr. Hall, a native of Sumter County, GA had been a resident of Warren County since 1995. A U.S. Navy veteran of WW II
he was a retired printer from the Atlanta - Journal Constitution with 26 years of service. Mr. Hall was a member of Franklin Masonic Lodge # 11, V.F.W., American Legion, and Norwood Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, survivors include three sons, Wayman (Irene) Hall, Jr. Dawsonville, GA; John Thomas (Reta) Hall, Marietta, GA; James Alvin Hall, Smyrna, GA; two daughters, Patricia Ann (Dick) Skelton, Marietta, GA; Paulette Hall, Woodstock, GA, four grandchildren, Troy Hall, Lindsey Skelton (Jonas)Perez, Chase (Jessica) Hall, Traci Hall, 2 great grandchildren, Blakely Faith Perez and Annie Grace Perez.
Pallbearers will be Troy Hall, Chase Hall, Jonas Perez, Paul Starnes, Drew Starnes, and Charles Jeffrey.
Friends may call at the residence.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Saturday evening at Lowe Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Norwood Baptist Church 103 Academy Street Norwood, GA 30821.
