Varnelle (Adkins) Marsh

Evans, GA - Mrs. Varnelle Adkins Marsh age 92 of Evans entered into rest Friday evening July 12, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at the Jewell Baptist Church with the Rev. Ralph Story officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Adkins, a native of Oglethorpe County, GA was the daughter of the late Pearl Martin Adkins and Harvey Johnson Adkins.  She was a 1949 graduate of Warren County High School.  Active in her church, Mrs. Marsh was a member of the Central Baptist Church.

Survivors include her three sons, Tommy (Anita) Marsh, Joey (Rebecca) Marsh, and Eddy (Barbara) Marsh; daughter in law, Sandy Henson; six grandchildren, Rachael, Jennifer, Jeromy, Jason, Kyle, and Maegan; five great grandchildren, Pressley, Vann, Carsen, Sarah and Hemming.  In addition, the family will soon welcome Zachary as a great grandchild.  Mrs. Marsh was preceded in death by a son, Randy Marsh and a grandson, Paul Marsh.

The following gentlemen will be serving as pallbearers: Tommy Marsh, Joey Marsh, Eddy Marsh, Nate Noler, Hayden Bailey, and Kyle Marsh.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM till the hour of service in the Jewell Baptist Church sanctuary.

The family would like to thank the staff of Westwood Nursing Facility for the exceptional care provided to Mrs. Marsh.
