Terry Fritz Obituary

Ms. Terry Fritz

Dearing, McDuffie County – Ms. Terry Fritz, age 63, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at her residence. She was the beloved daughter of Mr. James Victor Fritz and Mrs. Charlotte Jane Stein Fritz.

Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Terry grew up in Coplay before moving to Fort Pierce, Florida. She was a proud 1980 graduate of Parkland Senior High School in Orefield, Pennsylvania. Terry dedicated 18 years of service to ABE Window and Door, where she worked as Inside Sales and Service Coordinator until her retirement.

Faith was central to Terry’s life. She was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Fort Pierce, Florida, and previously a member of Jordan United Church of Christ in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Terry lived with a servant’s heart. She was passionate about helping others and gave generously of her time and talents. An avid crocheter, gardener, and animal lover, she found joy in simple acts of care and creativity. She was deeply involved in her community, volunteering with numerous organizations and groups. As a proud member of the Rebecca Lodge, she held many offices, including Past Noble Grand and two state positions. Terry organized craft shows, yard sales, and basket socials, always working tirelessly to support causes close to her heart.

Terry also shared her talents as a consultant for Mary Kay, Longaberger Baskets, and Princess House Crystal. She had a gift for seeing potential in used items, refurbishing them with love, and donating or selling them to benefit the organizations she supported. Her wholehearted dedication touched countless lives.

She is survived by her parents, James Victor Fritz and Charlotte Jane Stein Fritz of Harlem; two sisters, Tina Fritz-Pizzi of Dearing and Mary Jane Holmes of Tucson, Arizona; two nephews, nine nieces, eight great-nephews, and thirteen great-nieces, all of whom she cherished as her own children. She was a devoted aunt and a source of joy and guidance to them. Terry also leaves behind her stepdaughter, Tonya Romig; her beloved support dog, Cutie Pie; and a host of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Richard M. Fritz and Helen M. Dries Fritz; her maternal grandparents, Gustave Stein and Mary Recica Stein; and several aunts and uncles.
