Sue (Webb) Henning

Warrenton, GA -  Mrs. Ina Sue Webb Henning, age 99, beloved wife of the late Mr. Walter D. Henning entered into rest Friday April 26, 2024 at the Piedmont Hospital - Augusta.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 29, 2024 at the First Baptist Church of Warrenton with Dr. Brandon Furr and Mr. Alton Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens Thomson, GA.

Mrs. Henning a native of Elbert County, GA, was the daughter of the late Lincoln Morrison Webb and Josie Eula Mann Webb.  A Warren County resident for many years, Mrs. Henning was a retired parapro with the Warren County Board of Education.  In addition, Mrs. Sue taught the Wee Wisdom preschool for many years, served as secretary of the Woodmen of the world lodge # 66, member of the ladies auxiliary - VFW Thomson.  A active member of the First Baptist Church of Warrenton, Mrs. Henning was a member of the Laura Lee Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her son, James Morrison Henning; two grandchildren; Jamie Henning and Steven Henning; nieces and nephews, Marvin Webb, Sybil Webb Usry,  Roger Webb, Sandra Webb Starlling, and Shirley Mae Webb; a devoted caregiver and companion, Cassandra Hanson.

Pallbearers will be Steven Henning, Jesse Savage, Jason Smith, George P. Langford,III, Timmy Landrum,  Johnny Pearson, and Jeff Shelton.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Laura Lee Sunday School Class.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. till the hour of service  in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Warrenton.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Warrenton 206 S. Norwood Street Warrenton, GA 30828
