Robert Charles Swain

Norwood, GA -  Mr. Robert Charles Swain, age 83 husband of Mrs. Lelia Swain of Church Street Norwood entered into rest Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the VA Hospital - Augusta.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 3, 2019 at the Norwood United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jessica Blackwood officiating.

Mr. Swain a native of Conde, SD was the son of the late Johnana and Fred Swain.  A Norwood resident since 1995, Mr. Swain was a retired carpenter and a member of the Norwood United Methodist Church. In addition, Mr. Swain served in the U.S. Air Force.

Additional survivors include a son, Tony Swain (Beth Willis) of  Surf City, NC, two sisters; Betty (Jerry) Talbert of Alvin, TX and June Wood of Dale TX, one brother; Donald (Lois) Swain of Brentford, SD.

The family will receive friends immediately  following the service in the church sanctuary.

In lieu of flowers, the family request any memorials be made to the Norwood United Methodist Church 224 Church Street Norwood, GA 30821.
