Randy House

SAVANNAH, GA - Mr. Alan Randolf (Randy) House at the young age of 55 went home June 28, 2016 to meet his maker. Randy was a simple man. He didn’t want much, and didn’t ask for much. He loved playing his guitar and singing county music. He also loved riding his Harley. He was born and raised in Augusta and had made Savannah his home for the past several years. He was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver.

He is survived by his mother; Melvis Saxon, a step father; Donald Saxon and his father; Donald House, two daughters; Heather Ruttlifer and April Strickland, two sons; Jake House and Mark House, two brothers; Rusty House and Shawn Saxon, one sister; Melanie Saxon, three grandsons; Ashton House, Blake Rogers, and Tomtom Strickland, grandmother; Catherine Maddox, two aunts; Maxine Hughes and Wanda (Lanny) Doolittle, four nieces, a nephew, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Howard Maddox, his Pa.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 9, 2016 in the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Home 2502 Richmond Hill Road Augusta, GA with Rev. Jerry Hewatt officiating.
