Patricia "Patty" Lee Dockery

Augusta, GA - Mrs. Patricia Lee “Patty” Dockery, age 60, entered into rest November 22, 2024, at her residence. 

She was the daughter of the late William Sherman McEliece and Anna Anita Mueller McEliece.

Mrs. Dockery was born in Nuremberg, Germany but lived in Augusta, Georgia most of her life.  After graduating high school, Patty attended Augusta Technical College and obtained her associate’s degree.  She was a Deli Manager at Fort Eisenhower and a Catholic by faith.  Patty loved her family and friends.  She had an avid passion for animal rescue. 

Survivors include her companion, Antonial Dillard, of Augusta; twin sister, Teresa Whitesides and husband Joey of Graniteville, S.C., sister-in-law, Missy McEliece-Stone of Kennesaw, Georgia; two nephews, William “Will” McEliece and Jacob Whitesides; niece, Aolivia Whitesides.  Patty was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Carl McEliece, sister, Rose Williams and niece Courtney Bell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Patty’s honor may be made to Rogers Veterinary Services 905 Whiteoak Street Thomson, Georgia 30824 ( put on memo line in memory of Patricia Dockery) to further Patty’s passion of Animal Rescue. 

There will be no visitation or services scheduled.
