Patricia Lea Jones

Lea, nicknames LeaBO (courtesy of her grandfather), Bo or Trish, joined her daughter Sarah-Rae, grandparents, many aunts and uncles when she departed this life on the early morning of 9 Dec 2024.

She is survived by spouse Vanessa Newman, parents Melvin and Patricia, brother and sister in law, Mel and Jacki, the two lights of her life nephews, Dylon (Autumn) and Aric (Jessamine) and brother in law, Bruce Newman.

Lea was a loving and very family-oriented daughter.  Bo loved spending time with family, laughing with her nephews, fishing, and holding her fur babies.  She especially loved her brother who was her idol and looked up to him even though he is younger than her.

Lea recently achieved a major milestone of 11 years of sobriety.  She was so proud of her accomplishment, as we all were.  She had the support of family, friends and the recovery groups that helped her along the way and she was happy to share her journey to help others achieve success.

Though we mourn her passing we know she is happy with her surroundings, holding her baby and in her words, "It's all good".

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with family and friends officiating.
