Mitchell, GA - Mrs. Mary Catherine Chalker Toulson, age 69, beloved wife of Mr. Sammy Toulson died Friday evening March 8, 2013 at Georgia Regents Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Long Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Chad Crews officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Toulson will lie in state one hour prior to funeral services.
Mrs. Toulson, a native and lifelong resident of Warren County was the daughter of the late Harvel and Kate Newsome Chalker. She was a 1961 graduate of Warren County High School and a active member of the Long Creek Baptist Church and the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class.
Additional survivors include her daughter, Cathy Toulson (George) Norris, Thomson, GA, a sister, Doris Baker, Warrenton, GA, three grandchildren, Lauren Adams and fiance Matt Stanley, Josh Adams, and Jessica Norris. Mrs. Toulson was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jaci Madison Cooper, and two brothers, Moody Newsome and Bill Chalker.
Pallbearers will be Mike Baker, Jeff Baker, Bobby Ray Toulson, Marvin Toulson, David Toulson, and Bobby Jackson.
Friends may call at the residence.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday evening at Lowe Funeral Home.
