WARRENTON, GA - Mrs. Adelaide DeBeaugrine Pearson, age 90, beloved wife of the late Judge S. D. Pearson, Jr. died Saturday April 6, 2013 at the residence of her daughter in Millen, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Today, Monday, April 8, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church of Warrenton with the Revs. Jim Hanna and Andy Allen officiating. Burial will follow at 4:30 P.M. in the Millen City Cemetery.
Mrs. Pearson a native and lifelong resident of Warren County , was the daughter of the late Pierce Hubert and Ruth Hawes DeBeaugrine. She was a retired secretary with civil service at Fort Gordon. Mrs. Pearson, was a active member of the First United Methodist Church of Warrenton serving many years as the church organist and a member of the Burkhalter Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. After moving to Millen in 2009, she became an active part of the West Millen Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Julie Pearson Williams and husband Kenny, one son, Samuel D. Pearson, III and wife Debbie, six grandchildren, Kemberly Williams (Chandler) Dennard, Thomas Kenneth (Paige) Williams, Matthew Pearson Williams, Pierce DeBeaugrine (Kristen) Pearson, Elizabeth Allison Pearson, and Catherine Rebecca Pearson. Eight Great Grandchildren, Kaylee Marie Dennard, Lauren Elizabeth Dennard, Mason Wesley Williams, Karli Drew Williams, Trenton Robert Williams, Malana Lyn Williams, Davis Andrew Pearson, and James Patrick Pearson. One Brother, William Hawes DeBeaugrine and wife Audrey. Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death by a sister, Agnes DeBeaugrine Powell.
Pallbearers will be Pete Pearson, Tommy Williams, Matthew Williams, Trent Williams, Mason Williams, and Jimmy DeBeaugrine.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Womens One Sunday School Class at West Millen Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. till hour of service at the church.
