Mr. Michael Lewis Standiford

Warrenton, Georgia – Mr. Michael “Mike” Lewis Standiford, age 66, beloved husband of Mrs. Christine Lowden Standiford, entered into rest on Monday, January 26, 2026, at his residence. He was the son of the late Williams Standiford and Gwen Renee’ Duckett Standiford.

A service to celebrate Mike’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Sunday, February 15, 2026, in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Darrell Palms officiating. Following the service, the family will host a repass at Canaan Heights Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1091 Dallas Drive, Thomson, Georgia 30824.

Born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Mike lived in several places throughout his life before settling in Warrenton in 2008, a community he grew to love and call home. He retired from the State of Georgia Public Health Department, where he served faithfully as an Environmentalist and Health Inspector. A proud United States Army Veteran, Mike continued his life of service as a dedicated member and Elder of Johnston Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Mike was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in tending to his yard, caring for his animals, and appreciating the wildlife around him. He had a warm, unforgettable presence—if you met him once, you remembered him always. His kindness, humor, and genuine spirit made him a friend to many.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Christine Lowden Standiford; his daughters, Nicole Frick and Michelle Gagnon; his brothers, Dan Standiford and Billy Standiford; and his sister, Debra Ahyo.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation at www.t2t.org , honoring Mike’s lifelong commitment to service.
