Biography WARRENTON, GA - Mrs. Mary Rebecca “Becky” Wheeler, age 71, of Hubert Street Warrenton died Thursday morning November 12, 2015 at University Hospital – Augusta.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday November 15, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Warrenton with Dr. Brandon Furr officiating.
Mrs. Wheeler a native of Warren County, GA was the daughter of the late Mr. Henry C. (Sonny) Wheeler and Mrs. Isabel Kitchens Wheeler.
She was co-owner, Secretary, and Treasurer of the family owned Wheeler True Value Hardware in Warrenton and attended the First Baptist Church of Warrenton where she was active along with Miss Isabel in the nursing home ministry. In addition, Becky will be remembered for her love of all animals.
Survivors include her daughter, Tracy Chamberlain, two grandsons, Josh Chamberlain and Andrew Chamberlain, two brothers, Hal (Pam) Wheeler and Al (Lynn) Wheeler and a special friend and caregiver, Bobby Newsome all of Warrenton, GA.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society 2607 Commons Blvd. Augusta, GA 30909.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 P.M. till the hour of service in the sanctuary of Warrenton First Baptist Church.
