Sparta, Georgia-  Mrs. Mary J. Fowler, age 80, died Friday, September 17, 2021 at Sparta Health and Rehabilitation, Sparta GA. 

Graveside service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Scruggs Cemetery with Reverend Emory Anderson officiating.

Mrs. Fowler a native of Coshocton, Ohio.  Mrs. Fowler was the daughter of James D’Ostroph and Olga Marie (Duhamel) D’Ostroph of Coshocton, Ohio.  She was a resident of Hancock, County since 1990.  Mrs. Fowler is proceeded in death by her late husband of 55 years Rev. James F. Fowler of Sparta, GA, a sister Colleen M. Booth of Coshocton, OH, and earlier this year a daughter Angela M. (Fowler) Widner of Sparta, GA. 

She is survived by a sister Marleen K. Church of Newark, OH, also two daughters, Roxanne J. (Robert) Aultman of Milledgeville, GA, Bonnie L. (Thomas) Taylor of Coshocton, OH; two sons, Rev. Gerald D. (Judy) Fowler of Sparta, GA, Victor A. Fowler of Coshocton, OH, fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Lowe Funeral Home.
