Marjorie Anne Wiggins Bell
Augusta – Mrs. Marjorie Anne Wiggins Bell, age 79, widow of Mr. Larry Cecil Bell, entered into rest Monday, March 27, 2023, in the comfort of her home.
Mrs. Bell was a lifelong resident of Augusta GA. The daughter of the late Earnest D. Wiggins and Marjorie Carey Wiggins, she was a 1960 graduate of Richmond Academy and a Methodist by faith. She was a Promoter at Masters Bowling Lanes and bartender at The American Legion Post 63. Mrs. Bell loved and lived her life to the fullest, she took every advantage she could to have fun and explore life. Marjorie was the life of the party wherever she went. She loved to bowl, drink rattlesnakes, fireballs, and dance. If you were around her and did not have fun, it was your own fault. The family said she liked to pull the covers over her head putting the hairdryer under the covers.
Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Leslie Niedling. Survivors include her daughter, Dana Futch (Ray), son, Allen Kane Howell (Kerrah), three brothers, Bob Wiggins (Dawn), Freddie Wiggins (Beverly) and Paul Wiggins (Denise); son in law, John Niedling; seven grandchildren, Leage, Lexie, Lanie, Steven, Dawson, Stephanie, and Tiffani; eight great-grandchildren, Brinley, Kenson, Lucas, Kessler, Brant, Sutton, Braylon, and Hadley.
A Graveside Service honoring her life will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, March 31st at Sallie Hill Cemetery in Warrenton, Georgia with Chaplain Christie McTier officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 1:00 pm Friday at the Lowe Funeral Home.
