Lula (Tudor) Davis

Dearing, GA – Mrs. Lula Tudor Davis age 98, wife of the late Mr. John Curtis “J.C.”  Davis of Dearing entered rest Wednesday morning June 26, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday June 29, 2024, at the Dearing Full Gospel Church 5156 Adams Chapel Road Dearing with Rev. Polly Davis officiating.   Burial will follow in the Dearing Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Davis, a native of Augusta, was the daughter of the late Irma Welch Tudor and Charlie Tudor.  A lifelong resident of Dearing, Mrs. Lula attended Dearing United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Jones of Augusta; two sons, Curtis (Tracie) Davis of Columbus and Craig (Karen) Davis of Gibson; one brother, Johnnie Tudor of Toccoa; daughter in law, Polly Renew Davis of Harlem; 5 grandchildren, Simon (Bekah) Raley, John Davis, Brian (Tiffany) Davis, Miranda Davis (Victor) Scott, Matthew Jones; nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by two sons, Chuck Davis and Chris Davis; two sisters, Frances Clark and Mary Huff; four brothers, Dan Tudor, Frank Tudor, George Tudor and Charlie Tudor, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 225 N. Michigan Ave. Floor 17 Chicago, IL 60601 or www.alz.org.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. Saturday in the Dearing Full Gospel Church Sanctuary.
