Lorraine (Lowe) Tucker

Mrs. Lorraine Lowe Tucker age 98, beloved wife of the late Mr. Ollit Tucker of Grovetown, entered into rest Friday, January 16, 2026, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 19, 2026, at the Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with Pastor Clayton Galloway officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Tucker, a lifelong resident of Grovetown, was the daughter of the late Daisy Wade Lowe and Melvin Lowe.  Born January 3, 1928, and lived a long life defined by love, strength, and devotion to family.  She was a woman of quiet grace whose life touched generations, leaving a legacy of warmth, resilience, and enduring care for those around her.  She loved working in her yard.  Day lilies were her passion.

Survivors include her daughter, Margie Buchanan and husband J.W. of Grovetown; brother, Clarence Lowe and wife Jerry of Grovetown; grandchildren, Phyllis Johnson and Melissa Hutto; great grandchildren, Carrie Southerland, Brent Jeffires, Felicia Stiltner, Jacob Hutto, and Stephanie Russell; great-great grandchildren, Marcus White Jr., Mason Southerland, Addy Jeffires, Phoenix Stiltner and Odin Stiltner.  In addition to her husband and parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by two daughters, Carolyn Ann Harrell, and Jean Harrell Cliatt; granddaughter, Amanda Lee Powell Russell; sister, Lila Lowe Crawford; brothers, Furman Lowe, Gene Lowe, Melton Lowe, Herbert Lowe, and Vernon Lowe.

Pallbearers will be Robert Blackston, Robert Newman, John Thomas Lowe, Rodney Newman, Jimmy Lowe, and Justin Blevins.

The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service in the Bellevue Chapel.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Lorraine will be remembered for her generous heart, her quiet Strength, and the deep love she shared with her family.  Her memory will live on through the many generations who were blessed to know her.

Lorraine Lowe Tucker will be deeply missed and forever loved.
