Lois (Davis) Coxwell

Evans, GA – Mrs. Lois Davis Coxwell age 90, beloved wife of the late William Wayne Coxwell died Sunday evening April 11, 2021 at  Doctors Hospital – Augusta.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at the Johnson Cemetery Warrenton, GA with the Rev. Susan Gilbert officiating.

Mrs. Coxwell, a native and lifelong resident of Warren County was the daughter of the late Alma Chalker Davis and Olen Davis.  She was a retired supervisor with Health Tex and a member of the Johnson United Methodist Church and the adult Sunday School Class. After moving to Evans in 2014, Mrs. Coxwell became a member of the Sisters Group at Lewis Memorial Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter in law, Barbara Coxwell; one grandson, Asa L. Coxwell (fiancée Ashley Williams); great granddaughter, Grace Elaine; sister, Hazel Hawkins; and a sister in law, Lawana C. Coxwell.  Mrs. Coxwell was preceded in death by her son, Herschel Coxwell.

The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.
