Laverne (Cope) Gray

Mitchell, GA  -  Mrs. Laverne Cope Gray, age 85, beloved wife of the late Mr. Jewell F. Gray entered into rest Thursday April 25, 2024 at the the Piedmont Hospital- Augusta.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday,  April 28, 2024 from the Jewell Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Marty Pinion officiating.

Mrs. Gray a Warren County resident for many years, was a retired supervisor with Healthtex and  a member of Jewell Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Russ (Wendy) Gray of Mitchell.

Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Elree Gleason Cope, and two brothers, Milton "Butch" Cope, Sr. and Walter Cope.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Jewell Baptist Church Cemetery.
