Charles Larry Raley

Jewell, GA – Mr. Charles Larry Raley, age 80, beloved husband of Diane Raley, entered into rest Sunday, July 3, 2022, at his residence.  He was the son of the late James Charles “J.C.” Raley and Eva Inez Adkins Raley.

Mr. Raley was a lifelong resident of the Jewell Community.   Larry was a 1959 graduate of Warren County High School and a member of Jewell Baptist Church.  He was retired as a construction superintendent with H.R. Pepper Construction of Jacksonville, Florida.

Mr. Raley is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Ollie Diane McDonald Raley of Jewell; daughter, Melissa Ann Raley of Mitchell; son, Charles Lynn Raley and wife Deborah of Jewell; brother, James Robert “Bob” Raley and wife Mary Lynn of Thomson; grandchildren, Madison Earl and wife Kaylyn of Thomson, Morgan Inez Earl of Mitchell, Ansleigh Raley and Ashleigh Raley both of Jewell; and several nieces.

A Graveside service will be held 10 am Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Jewell Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Brandon Furr officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Historic Jewell School House.
