Keith Allen Krooss

THOMSON, GA – Mr. Keith Allen Krooss age 45, beloved husband of Vickie Leggett Krooss of Christine Drive Thomson entered into rest Sunday September 12, 2021.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the Krooss residence 1429 Christine Drive Thomson, GA with Rev. Rodney Dunaway officiating.

Keith a native of Jefferson County, GA was the son of Wanetta Issac Krooss Rachels and the late Warren Arthur Krooss.  A heavy equipment operator, Keith worked for Gearig Civil Works and a member to the Church of God in Christ Mennonite.  In addition, Keith graduated from Jefferson County High School Class of 1994 and attended Georgia Southwestern University, Middle Georgia College, and Augusta State University.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Vickie Leggett Krooss of Thomson; daughter, Jasmine Marie Krooss (Rayvon Sturgis) of Thomson; granddaughter, Remyngton Lake Krooss; mother and step-father, Wanetta and Brinson Rachels of Appling; one sister, Heather Woody of Cleveland, TN; two brothers, Darryl (Erin) Mixon of Gibson and Timothy “Tim” James(Leon) Krooss of Stone Mountain; step brothers, B.J. Rachels of Appling, and James Eric (Brittney) Rachels of Evans; sister in law, Renee Leggett of Grovetown; brother in law, Calvin (Traci) Leggett of Thomson; nieces, Emily Leggett and Jordan Leggett; nephews, J.C. Mixon, Blythe Henderson, Wesley Henderson, Will Rachels,  James Rachels, and Nicolas Torres; three fur babies, Lito, Cowboy, and Chevy.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to American Lung Association 55 W. Wacker Drive Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601.
