Julia Anne (Hadden) McGahee

Ms. Julia Anne McGahee, age 88 of Kingsland, Ga.  passed away at her residence in the early morning hours of Wednesday, March 8th, 2023.

Ms. McGahee was born on December 16th, 1934 in Norwood, Georgia.  She is the daughter of the late Johnny Jasper Hadden & Eunice Elizabeth Watson Hadden.

Ms. McGahee is survived by her children, Richard M. & Pam McGahee, Jr. of Bethlehem, Ga., Vicki & Bill Maxwell of St. Marys, Ga. and Jay & Lisa McGahee of Flagstaff, Az.; her grandchildren, Clark & Abby McGahee, Ben McGahee, Whitney Eubanks, Jordan & Bella McGahee and Haylie McGahee; and her seven great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Ms. McGahee joins her husband, Richard M. McGahee, Sr.; her grandson, Christopher Maxwell and her sister, Frances Kitchens in Heaven.

A visitation will begin at 9:15 am until the funeral service begins at 10:00 am on Monday, March 13th, 2023 at the Kingsland First Baptist Church in Kingsland, Ga. Pastors' Brian Parker & Vernon Dillingham will preside over the service.  Interment will follow at the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens in Thomson, Ga. at 4 pm.
