Joyce (Edwards) Taylor

Mrs. Joyce Edwards Taylor, age 83 of Stockbridge entered into rest Monday, December 1, 2025.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Friday, December 5, 2025, at the Mesena United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Taylor the daughter of the late Mrs. Mary Ruth “Ruby” McCorkle Edwards and Mr. Hubert Gibson Edwards was a native of Greene County, GA. A resident of Stockbridge since 2010, Mrs. Joyce was a homemaker and a protestant by faith.

Survivors include her son Sam Taylor and wife Ann of Greensboro; her daughter, Monica Taylor of Covington; her brother, Larry Edwards of Tallahassee, FL; her sisters, Rita Swimer and Norma Scott both of Thomasville, GA; four grandchildren, Brittney Hill and husband Matt, Taylor Johnson, Harrison Taylor, and Gabriel Taylor; two great grandchildren, Ysabelle Hill and Charlee Hill.

The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Mesena United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund 2455 Mesena Road Warrenton, GA 30828.
