Martinez – Mr. Jesse Asa Chavous, age 64, entered into rest Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at his residence.  

Jesse was a native of Richmond County but lived in Columbia County for many years. He was the son of the late Jesse Chavous and Clifford Morris. He was a truck driver and worked at Moody’s Tire Service for many years as a tire man.  He was a Baptist by faith. 

Mr. Chavous is survived by extended family and friends.

A family gathering will be held 6:00 pm Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Walker Cemetery off Lumpkin Road in Augusta, GA.
