Jesse Black
Gibson, GA – Mr. Jesse Black, age 64, entered into rest Thursday, May 26, 2022, at his brother’s residence surrounded by family.
Mr. Black was born in Washington County but lived all his life in Glascock County. He was the son of Robert N. Black and Mildred Kelley Black. Jesse worked at Camak Manufacturing in Thomson for many years. He loved to fish; it’s been said that he would go fishing every chance he got. Jesse loved to spend time with his family and friends. He was a friend to everyone that knew him and will be missed.
Jesse was predeceased by his parents. Survivors include his three sisters, Joann Kitchens of Gibson, Charlene Hadden of Dearing, and Linda Buffington (James) of Thomson; four brothers, Melvin Black (Margie) of Gibson, Noah “Robert” Black of Grovetown, Vance Black of Gibson, and Ronnie Black (Lisa) of Gibson; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Celebration of life will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Second Chance Independent Church 1152 Hillcrest Drive Thomson, Georgia 30824, with Rev. Charles E. Reese officiating.
