Jeffrey Mark (Jeff) Poston, Sr.

Thomson, GA -  Mr. Jeffrey Mark "Jeff" Poston, Sr. age 57 entered into rest Saturday August 24, 2019 at the Warrenton Health and Rehabiliation Center.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M.  Saturday August 31, 2019 at the residence of Tina and Butch Sims 3386 Sandhill Road Thomson with Pastor Charles Land officiating.

Mr. Poston, a native of Arlington, VA was the son of the late Martha Virginia Duncan Poston and Amos Dabney Poston. Jeff grew up and attend school in Bowman, GA before moving as a adult  to Thomson many years ago.  He was a retired carpenter and a Baptist.  His family said, he will be remembered as a "jack of all trades" and a avid gardener and fisherman.

Survivors include his sons, Jeffrey Mark Poston, Jr. and Daniel Alexander (Alecia) Poston, three sisters, Jill Anderton, Toni Crane, and Tina (Butch) Sims, a brother, Jimmy (Vicky McGarity, a sister in law, Sylvia McGarity and 3 grandchildren.  Mr. Poston was preceded in death by a brother, Terry McGarity.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the residence.
