Warrenton, GA - Mrs. Jannie Howell Evans, Age 101, wife of the late Mr. Richard E. Evans Warrenton, died Sunday May 22, 2016 at Pruitt Health Care in Washington, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday May 25, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Warrenton with Dr. Brandon Furr officiating. Burial will follow at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens in Thomson, GA.

Survivors are her daughter, Joyce Evans Ward (Charles) of Social Circle; Her sister Mrs. Naomi Howell Edmonds of Thomson. She has Three Grandsons and six Great Grandsons.

Mrs. Jannie is preceded in death by her parents Jessie W. Howell and Mattie S. Clemons. Two brothers W.T. Howell, Jessie M. Howell; three sisters Ila Mae Howell Stone, Ruby Viola Howell and Doris Howell Smith.

Pallbearers will be Charles J. Ward, M. Scott Ward, Chad M. Ward, Lamar Nix, Alton Johnson, and Merrill Callaway, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be the Laura Lee Sunday School Class of the First Baptist Church Warrenton

The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. till the hour of service at the First Baptist Church of Warrenton.
