James Lamar (Pat) Porter

Thomson, GA - Mr. James Lamar "Pat" Porter age 89, of Union Church Road Thomson entered into rest November 8, 2022.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday June 23, 2024 at the Mesena United Methodist Church Cemetery 2455 Mesena Road Warrenton with the Rev. Melissa Reynolds officiating.

Mr. Porter a native and lifelong resident of McDuffie County was a retired self employed logger.  He was a member of Mesena United Methodist Church joining the fellowship in 1945.

Survivors include one daughter,  June Beter of Newport News, VA; two sisters, Irene Trappe of Grovetown, GA and Pauline Vergeer of Thomson, GA.

The family will receive friends following the service.
