Irma Arline Bentley

Norwood, GA  -  Miss Irma Arline Bentley, age 77 of the Cadley Community of Warren County died May 7, 2019 at Doctors Hospital - Augusta. 

Memorial funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. June 1, 2019 at the Margaret's Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Albert Stroup officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Miss Bentley a native of Taliaferro County was the daughter of the late Lillian Ferguson Bentley and John Carey Bentley.  A 1959 graduate of the Alexander Stephens Institute in Crawfordville,  Miss Bentley went on the graduate in 1963 from the Lancaster School of the Bible and received a nursing degree from George College in Milledgeville in 1973. A retired Registered Nurse, Ms. Bentley served at MCG, University Hospital, VA Hospital Wills Memorial in Washington, GA, Minnie G. Boswell in Greensboro, GA and Montefiore in Pittsburgh. She was a member of New Providence Baptist Church.

Survivors include her two brothers, John W. (Hazel) Bentley of Sparta, and James Milo Bentley of White Plains, GA. Also remaining are a great many nieces,nephews, grand and great grand nieces and nephews all of whom she loved and supported.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, John Carey, Clanton H., Donald R,. Ollie H,, and Bobby J. Bentley.
