Geraldine Gunn

WARRENTON, GA - Mrs. Geraldine Hendrick Gunn age 72, beloved wife of 54 years to Mr. Jack W. Gunn of Gibson Highway died Friday evening at the Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers, FL.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church of Warrenton with Rev. Jerry Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Cemetery. Mrs. Gunn will lie in state one hour prior to funeral services at the church.
Mrs. Gunn was born in Wilkes County, GA. A lifelong resident of Warren County she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Hendrick, Sr, and Annie Ruth Norris Hendrick. She was retired from the Department of Family and Children's Services with 34 years of service and a member of the Warrenton First United Methodist Church.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Jackie (Peter) Smith, N. Augusta, SC, one son, Chris (Donna) Gunn, Warrenton, three sisters, Bonnie Finch, Oak Island, NC, Herleen Beeson, Lexington, NC, Marjorie Meredith, Garner, NC, one brother, Farris (Marilee) Hendrick, Oakville WA, four grandchildren, Steven, Aaron, Katie, and Jenny, and one great grandson, Noah.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Brewer, Bob Dye, Aaron Smith, Steven Gunn, David Thomas, and Joe Powell.
Friends may call at the residence or from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. Monday evening at Lowe Funeral Home.
