Glascock County, GA. – Mrs. India Geneva Smallwood, age 71, entered rest Saturday, May 06, 2023, at her residence.

Mrs. Smallwood a native of Augusta, Georgia, but has lived in Glascock County for many years.  The daughter of the late Mr. Harry Veal Gill and Mary Elizabeth Kinney Gill, Geneva retired from Advance Auto Parts as a Supervisor and was a Baptist by faith.  

Survivors include her husband Russell Alan Smallwood of Glascock County; four children, Lisa Renea Jenkins (James), Vernon Graham Snodgrass, Jr., Hillary Shae Bridges (Ed), Zakk Tyler Smallwood (Madalyn); five grandchildren, India Caitlin Headrick, Jalen Adam Jenkins, and Jace Dealon Jenkins, Bentley Tyler Smallwood, and Oaklyn Everly Smallwood; one great-grandchild, Ayrial J’anae Usry; four siblings, Harry Joseph Gill, Laura Jeannette Labruyere, Gloria Dean Cash, and Sara Anne Chrnalogar. Mrs. Smallwood was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Adam Headrick.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 am Wednesday, May 10th in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Zakk Smallwood officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
