Gee Thomas Chalker, Jr

Warrenton - Mr. Gee Thomas Chalker, Jr. age 94, beloved husband of 71 years to the late Mrs. Mattie Johnson Chalker entered into rest Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kyle Downs officiating.  Burial will follow in the Scruggs Cemetery. 

Mr. Chalker a native of Glascock County, GA was the son of the late Pearl Lasseter Chalker and Gee Thomas Chalker, Sr. Retired from Civil Service at Fort Gordon, Mr. Gee was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  In addition, He was an active member of the Mitchell Full Gospel Church and loved to play guitar and listen to good music. 

Survivors include his two daughter in laws, Sara Chalker of Hodge, LA and Agnes Chalker of Warrenton, GA; two grandsons, Frank Chalker and Jayson (Racquel) Chalker; step grandchildren, Patricia (Patrick) Blackwelder, Matthew James Messer, and Paul Nathan (Morgan) Messer; seven great grandchildren, Trevor Chalker, Alex Chalker, Ireland Messer, Brittany Chambliss, Corbin Blackwelder, Nicholas Draper, and Jason High.  Also surviving are numerous great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Chalker was preceded in death by his two sons, Ken Chalker and Gee Thomas Chalker, III and a step grandson Preston Blackwelder.  

Pallbearers will be Lance Greene, Bob Ellis, Dan Davis, Cason Davis, Colin Davis, and Sam Griswold.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Saturday evening at Lowe Funeral Home.
