Eugene “Gene” Wayne Holland

Martinez – Mr. Eugene “Gene” Wayne Holland, age 89, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at his residence.  He was born September 15, 1934, in Mobile, AL to John and Mildred Holland.

He served in the Navy on the USS Saratoga and later attended Seminole Jr College.  He was very passionate about his university of Florida Gators.  He loved God, His country, his family, countless friends but especially is “girls”, his beloved wife Faye and daughter, Debbie.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother John Holland Jr. and beloved wife, Faye Marie Holland.  He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Holland-See, and his cousin Ken Porter.

At Gene’s request there will be no formal service.  He will be cremated; his family will spread his ashes at one of his favorite spots and will have a private celebration of his life.  In lieu of flowers. Please make a contribution to the charity of your choice.
