Funeral services for Edgar Wynn Thigpen, 84, Cochran, who died Saturday, September 7, 2013, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., in the chapel of Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will be the Johnson Cemetery Warren County, Georgia.

Mr. Thigpen was a native of Warren County, GA, son of the late George Manor and Kate Darden Thigpen, widow of the late Louise Fordham Thigpen. He was a retired truck driver, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in WW II and was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Survivors are: daughter, Kim Wenzelle, Marietta; grandson, Derick (Jessica) Smith, Lizella.
