Mr. Bradley Clifton “Brad” Hobbs age 47 beloved son of Mrs. Barbara Purvis Hobbs and the late Clifton Lester Hobbs entered into rest Thursday, August 28, 2025.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating.
Brad, a native of Warren County, GA attended Mt. Beulah Baptist Church, and had resided in Augusta for the last 9 years.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Barbara Purvis Hobbs of Thomson, GA; sister, Jennifer Hobbs (Jonathan) Thigpen of Wrens, GA ; step mother, Susan Hobbs of Gibson, GA; step brother, Lane Hadden of Dublin, GA; step sister, Heather Rodgers of Dudley, GA; nephews, Reagan (Laura) Thigpen and Tyler Thigpen, step nephew, Travis Rodgers; step niece, Sabrina Rodgers and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday evening, September 2, 2025, at Lowe Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Mt. Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery Fund C/O Ms. Kay Langham P.O. Box 217 Thomson, GA 30824.
The entire family is very thankful to Ms. Brenda Nelson and the staff of Soto ALG for the care and love given to Brad over the past 9 years. At Soto, Brad found a new way of life, many new friends, lots of happiness and for this the family is forever grateful.
