Warrenton, GA - Mrs. Billie Young Duckworth, age 81, wife of the late Mr. George R. Duckworth of English Drive died Friday November 2, 2012 at University Hospital – McDuffie.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Sisler officiating.
Mrs. Duckworth a native of McDuffie County, GA was the daughter of the late Andrew Lee and Edna Edmunds Young. She was a retired Industrial Engineer with Milliken Inc. and a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Ronny (Brenda) Duckworth of Lincolnton, GA, one brother, Bobby Lee Young of Monroe, GA, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Mrs. Duckworth was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Duckworth Dryman.
Friends may call at the residence.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Saturday evening November 3, 2012 at the Lowe Funeral Home.
