Warrenton – Mrs. Betty Wilbanks Wren Johnson, entered into rest Saturday, September 9, 2023, at her residence.
Mrs. Johnson, a native of Dallas, Georgia, but a resident of Warren County for 40 years, was the daughter of the late Henry Grady “H.G.” Wilbanks and Mary Fergeson Wilbanks. A 1947 graduate of Dallas High School, Betty was a homemaker and a member of Johnson Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence “Jamup” Johnson, of Warrenton; stepson, Robert Johnson of Warrenton; stepdaughter, Gail Beard and husband Glenn of Appling; grandson, Aaron Johnson and wife Ashley of Nicholson, Georgia; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 14, 2023, in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Dr. Gary Hadden and Ms. Betty English officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Friends may call at the residence.
