Louisville- Mrs. Ann Ethridge Brown, 79, entered into rest Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Pruitt Health Louisville. 

Mrs. Brown was a lifelong resident of Jefferson County. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Peyton Ethridge and Doris Welch Ethridge.  Ann was retired as a bookkeeper.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.  Mrs. Brown enjoyed working in the yard, tending to her flowers, cooking, baking, crocheting, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her son, David Peyton Brown, Louisville; daughter, Claudia Lee Brown Johnson (John), Warrenton; brother, Frank Ethridge, Louisville; sister, Rose Ann Dupree, Columbus; three grandchildren, Kenneth Lamar Unruh Jr. (Maria), Delton Lane Unruh (Kelly), Edwin Taylor Brown; and eight great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held.  No public visitation will be held.
