Warrenton, GA - Mr. William David (Davey) Lyons, Jr., age 58 of Lyons Road Warrenton entered into rest Friday, July 5, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, July 7, 2024, at the Mesena United Methodist Church 2455 Mesena Road Warrenton with the Rev. Melissa Reynolds officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Lyons, a lifelong resident of Warren County, GA was the son of Mrs. Mahaley Prevette Lyons and Mr. William David Lyons, Sr.  Davey worked with Shaw Industries and attended Mesena United Methodist Church.  In addition, he was an avid fan of the Atlanta Falcons.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Jessica Lyons (Jordan) Dowd of Grovetown, GA and Jennifer Haley Lyons of Jackson, SC; one son, William David Lyons, III of Warrenton, GA; and one brother, Mike Lyons of Hephzibah, GA. Mr. Lyons was excited about the upcoming birth of a grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Jordan Dowd, Mike Lyons, Charles Lyons, Allen Dowd, and Leonard Wood.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. till the hour of service in the sanctuary of Mesena United Methodist Church.
