Mrs. Terrie Ballard Askew

Blythe — Mrs. Terrie Ballard Askew, age 63, widow of Mr. Randy Askew, entered into rest Saturday, November 30, 2024, at her residence.  She was the daughter of the late Doug Ballard and Betty Jean Ballard. Mrs. Askew was born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, but lived most of her life in Blythe, Georgia.

She was an administrative assistant at H.E. Moon Glass company for over 30 years. She was a Baptist by faith.

Terrie will be remembered for her love of the Georgia Bulldogs, her love of taking pictures and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Joshua P. Mutimer and wife Laurie of Augusta; two daughters, Katie E. Askew and fiancé Nick of Blythe and Nicole Prescott and husband Justin of Blythe; four grandchildren, Hannah Mutimer, Noah Mutimer, Ryan Blansett and Lilly Blansett; and sister, Sandra L. Hayes and husband Wayne of Blythe.

A celebration of Terrie's life will be held December 5, 2024 at 11am at Journey Sherwood Church 3131 Old Louisville Rd, Augusta, GA 30906.  Flowers or donations can be sent to that address.
