Grovetown, Georgia – Mr. Roy Preston Smith, age 58, entered into rest on August 25, 2026, at Wellstar Augusta. He was the son of the late Larry Phillip Smith and Thelma Jean Lyell Smith.

A native of Kentucky but lived in Maryland before moving to Grovetown.  He was a handyman by trade, most would say he was a jack of all trades but the master of none. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by daughters, Brittany Smith, Suddie Elizabeth Smith, and Jeannie Lanaster; and a son, Daniel Smith.
