Mr. Rhett Judson Coxwell

Warrenton, GA - Mr. Rhett Judson Coxwell age 48, entered into rest Saturday, June 28, 2025, at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 A.M., Monday, June 30, 2025, at Johnson Cemetery with Dr. Brandon Furr officiating.

Mr. Coxwell a native of Augusta, and lifelong resident of Warren County, GA was the son of Mr. Dennis Coxwell and Mrs. Fran McElveen Coxwell.  He was a 1995 graduate of Briarwood Academy and later graduated from Augusta Technical College with a degree in Turf Management.  Rhett worked for The Timbermen, Inc. and was a member of Warrenton First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son, Taylor Coxwell and wife Emily of Evans; grandchild, Banks Coxwell of Evans; parents, Dennis and Fran Coxwell of Warrenton; two sisters, Jennifer Coxwell Brunner and husband Ritchie of Thomson, and Laney Coxwell Cheely and husband Wayne of Warrenton; aunt, Betty Coxwell of Sandersville; two uncles, Chris McElveen and wife Faith of Crawfordville and Dan Coxwell and wife Judy of Washington; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Coxwell was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lane and Jo McElveen and paternal grandparents, Lewie and Lawana Coxwell.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Cheely, Ritchie Brunner, Andrew Rhodes, Adam Lee, Jon Lee and Chad Mosley.

Friends may call at the residence of his parents Dennis and Fran Coxwell 307 Wilhoit Street Warrenton, Georgia 30828.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to the Johnson Cemetery Fund C/O Judy Johnson 3312 Gibson Highway Warrenton, GA 30828.
