Martha Mae Ouimette Audet

Camak, GA – Mrs. Martha Mae Ouimette Audet "Pattie", age 77, beloved wife of Mr. Louis Thorne Audet, entered into rest Saturday, March 12, 2022, at her residence.

Martha was a native of Sparta, Georgia, but has lived in Camak since 2007.  She was the daughter of the late James Frederick Ouimette and Martha Lewis Ouimette.  Mrs. Audet was retired from McDuffie Regional Medical Center as an assistant to the Hospital Administrator.  Martha had a master's degree in finance.  She was a protestant by faith.

Survivors include her husband, Louis Thorne Audet, Camak; a daughter, Niole Pitts;a son, Daryl Lidwin; two step-daughters, Shannon Turner and Lindsay McCall, both of Augusta; sister, Jocelyn O. Mercogliano, Sparta; twin brother, James (Sonny) Frederick Ouimette, Tallahassee, Florida and brother, Michael Lewis Ouimette, Ludlow Massachusetts; nine grandchildren, Noah Pitts, Donnie Pitts, Brian Burhans, Kimberly Burhans, Daryl "DJ" Lidwin, Jr., Julie Lidwin, Jake Lidwin, Tomas Trayce Audet, and Dakota Layne Turner; one great-grandchild, Leland Eugene Audet,  numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 2 - 3 pm Saturday, March 19, 2022 in the Chapel of Lowe Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life service will follow at 3 pm in the chapel.
