Mrs. Marlynn Stokes Davis

Warrenton – Mrs. Vickie Marlynn Stokes Davis, age 64, entered into rest, Tuesday, March 19, 2024, in Doctor's Hospital Augusta.  She was the beloved wife of Mr. Duncan James Davis of 43 years and the daughter of the late Carson Stokes and Juanita Pierce Stokes.

Marlynn was a native of Charleston, West Virginia, but had lived in Warrenton since 2007. A 1978 Graduate of Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.  Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church of Warrenton.

Marlynn leaves behind her husband of 43 years, Duncan James Davis of Warrenton, Georgia; a son J.C. Widener and wife Callie of Evans, Georgia; two daughters, Becky Davis of Broomefield, CO. and Connie Kelly and husband Todd of Livingston, LA; two brothers, Jimmy Stokes and wife Teresa of Chickamauga, Georgia and George Stokes and wife Sheri of Reynolds, Georgia; five grandchildren, Carson Widener, Ansleigh Widener, Will Kelly, Jack Kelly, and Ashlynn Kelly.  Marlynn was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Connie Sue Stokes.

A visitation will be held Friday, March 22nd from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Lowe Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Lupus Foundation 1337 Canton Road Suite D. Marietta, Georgia 30066.
