Rev. Lanny Canuette Retired Baptist Minister Martinez, GA – Rev. Lanny Canuette, age 66, beloved husband of Mrs. Deborah Orander Canuette died Friday evening at University Hospital – Augusta Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. TODAY, Monday, November 5, 2012 at the Martinez Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Winsett and Dr. Dwayne Boudreaux officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Rev. Canuette, a native and lifelong resident of the Augusta area was a Retired Baptist Minister serving Norwood Baptist Church, Brushy Creek Baptist Church, Gibson First Baptist Church and Clearview Baptist Church. He was a member of Martinez Baptist Church. Additional survivors include two sons, Robert Edward Canuette, Martinez, GA, and Ronald Lanier (Tina) Canuette of Harlem, GA, his mother, Mary Frances Canuette, Charleston, SC, one sister, Rozanne(George) Lamar, Charleston, SC, eight grandchildren, Dalton, Elizabeth, Ashton, Cody, Farrah, Zackary, Cassidy, Bobbie and eight nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Carlton Griffith, Dee Humphreys, Ronald Canuette, Cody Canuette, Matt Hubbard, and Clint Hubbard. Friends may call at the residence.
