Hendersonville, N.C. – Mr. James LaVern McCullough, age 49 of Hendersonville, N.C., passed from this world into the arms of his Heavenly Father on September 10, 2021.  He left behind his family and friends who loved him dearly and will always cherish the memories of him and his sweet, gentle, kind-hearted spirit and unique sense of humor followed by that precious grin.  He loved Jesus, his family and friends, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, cooking, NASCAR and football.

Born in Cherry Point, N.C., James was the son of Judith Spivey McCollough and Jett L. McCullough.  He was preceded in death by the love of his life Robyn, and their son Dalton.  Survivors are his mother Judy (Nicholas Lanzotti), N. Augusta, S.C; his father, Jett McCullough (Mary Lynn) Warrenton, GA; a sister, Leslye Ussery, N. Augusta, S.C, Holly Howell (Brian) Moore, S.C.; stepsister and brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Those who wish to memorialize James, may do so by making a contribution to a charity of their choice.
