WARRENTON, GA – Mrs. Grace Chalker Greene, age  97, beloved wife of the late Mr. Artis Greene of Gibson Highway entered into rest October 25, 2017 at University Hospital- Augusta.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, Thomson with Dr. Jon Reimer officiating.

Mrs. Greene a native of Glascock County, GA was a Warren County resident for over 54 years.  Mrs. Greene the daughter of the late Mr. G. T. Chalker, Sr. and Mrs. Pearl Lassiter Chalker was a homemaker and attended Believer's Gospel Chapel.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol L. Chester, Dallas, TX, Pam G. (Tommy) Duckworth, Warrenton, GA; two sons, Tony Greene, Warrenton, GA, and Art (Laura Ellen) Greene, Athens, GA; three sisters, Nina Rooks, Augusta, GA, Opal Henrich, St. Louis, MO, Orie Luppold, Evans, GA; one brother, G. T. Chalker, Jr., Warrenton, GA; ten grandchildren, Stacey Greene, Lance Greene, Jessica Greene Jackson, Jim Chester, Lisa Chester Rubio, Julie Duckworth Dukes, Mollie Duckworth Holt, Amy Greene, Lindsey Greene, and Sarah Greene, 13 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Believer's Gospel Chapel 3562 Peach Orchard Road Augusta, GA 30906.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 – 8 :00 P.M. at Lowe Funeral Home.
