GIBSON, GA - Mrs. Edna Williams Ledford, age 73, of Lampp Road died Thursday morning May 4, 2017 at Doctors Hospital – Augusta. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Scruggs Cemetery with Rev. Brian George officiating. Mrs. Ledford a native of Augusta was the daughter of the late Otis Williams and Helen Hydrick Williams. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her daughter, Brandy (Nick) Kelley, N. Augusta, SC, three sons, Steve Matthews, Michael Matthews, and Robbie Matthews all of Augusta, a step-daughter, Aquilla Hatcher, Jacksonville, FL, two step-sons, Quanah Guest, Charleston, SC, and Aaron Guest, Jacksonville, FL, a sister, Beverly W. Warren, Norwood, two brothers, Bobby L. Williams, Atlanta, and Jack E. Williams, Augusta, 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Mrs. Ledford was preceded in death by her long time friend and companion, Mitchell Lee Guest and a daughter, Beverly (Jewell) Grace Matthews. The family will receive friends from 12:30 till 1:45 P.M.
