Charles Albert Poss

Norwood, GA – Mr. Charles Albert Poss, age 82, beloved husband of Mrs. Pamela H. Poss, entered into rest Friday, September 30, 2022, at Wills Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 4, 2022, in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Scruggs Cemetery, Norwood.

Mr. Poss was a native of Greene County but had lived in Norwood for many years. Charles was the son of the late Mr. Joseph Poss, Sr. and Mrs. Janie Cosby Poss.  He was retired as a heat and air contractor and a member of Full Gospel Lighthouse Church.

Charles is survived by his wife, Pamela H. Poss, Norwood, sons, Steven Greer, Kannapolis, North Carolina, Matthew Poss, Norwood; daughter, Nina Greet, Kannapolis, North Carolina; brother, Almon Poss (Esther), Harlem, Georgia; ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and beloved dog Butterball.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Poss, Avery Poss, David Poss, Steve Berry, Gene Berry and Charles Poss.

Friends may call at the Lowe Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2022, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers if so desired memorial contributions may be made to Lowe Funeral Home to assist the family.
