WARRENTON, GA – Mrs. Betty Ruth Dye age 78, of Davis Street Warrenton died Saturday evening January 31, 2015 at University Hospital – McDuffie. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. TODAY, Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Mill Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Marty Pinion officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Dye will lie in state one hour prior to funeral services at the church. Mrs. Dye a lifelong resident of Warren County was the daughter of the late Mr. Hermie Lee and Eloise Griswell Frazier. She was a 1954 graduate of Warren County High School, a retired store owner and a member of the First Baptist Church of Warrenton and the Warrenton Bridge Club. Survivors include a daughter and son in law, Cheryl Hendrick Brewer and George Brewer of Warrenton, GA, a son, Bob Dye of Mitchell, GA, three grandchildren, Brandon Brewer, Noah Dye and Mitchell Dye. Pallbearers will be Chris Gunn, Jay Wilkes, Trey Thigpen, Beau Thigpen, Bobby Thigpen, and Frank Powell.
