Mrs. Barbara Ann Johnson

Grovetown – Mrs. Barbara Ann Johnson, age 68, widow of Mr. Johnny Johnson, entered into rest, Wednesday, September 25, 2024, in Doctors Hospital.

Mrs. Johnson was a native of Baldwin County, Georgia, but lived in Gibson and Stapleton, Georgia for many years before moving to Grovetown last year.  She worked for many years with Glascock County Senior Center in the kitchen and office.  Barbara will be remembered for her contagious friendly spirit and love for people.  She loved her time at the Senior Center because she got to talk with everyone and help her community.  When she was not at the Senior Center Barbara could be found fishing or shopping.

Survivors include her daughter, Monica Tedford and husband Michael of Grovetown; two brothers, Wallace Parker and David Parker, both of Milledgeville; two sisters, Mary Blount and Sydney Blount, both of Milledgeville; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Tedford of Grovetown and Tyler Ray Phillips of Thomson.
